SEPTEMBER 12: Rally Day. Northland Sunday
School will be hosting a Rally Day Festival at the
Iola Ski Hill on September 12th. There will be
great fellowship, worship, and live Polka Music!!
Service will be at 10:00 AM with a Potluck to
follow. Tell everyone you know because we
want to pack the ski hill with God loving, Polka
music loving, fun loving hungry people.
SEPTEMBER 18: LCMC 1st Ladies Gathering. The area LCMC church ladies will be having their first ladies LCMC Gathering at Shepherd of the Lakes in Waupaca on September 18th from 9AM until 4PM. Many fun activities & fellowship planned. More details in next months newsletter.
OCTOBER 2: Northland Lutheran Church Ladies will be demonstrating “Making Norwegian Pastries” at the Iola Historical Societies “ Lost Art’s Fair”. Demonstrations will include Lefse. Rosettes, Krumkaka, Sandbakkels and Fattigmand. We will be demonstrating, taste- testing, encouraging audience participation and offering tips. Join us for the fun. Norwegian recipes will be available. Sign up for future “Making Norwegian Goodies” classes. The Iola Historical Society will be selling Norwegian pastries at their bake sale during the Lost Art’s Fair event. We look forward to seeing you there...and bring a friend or two or three!
OCTOBER 16: Northland Lutheran Church's 95th Annual Norwegian Supper! Serving Lutefisk, Lefse, Scandinavian Meatballs, all the fixings and Norwegian Pastries to carry out the traditions started in 1915 .
School will be hosting a Rally Day Festival at the
